HTTPFirst Check

HTTPFirst Check Free tool

Enter a domain to see whether Chrome is likely to stop your visitors with its new warning before an insecure HTTP connection. It checks https and http on the bare domain and on www, follows every redirect, checks whether the certificate is trusted and covers both names, and looks for HTTPS-to-HTTP downgrades, the HSTS header, and mixed-content hints. It then gives copy-paste fixes for common hosts and servers.

Free tier: 5 free checks a day per visitor. No sign-up and no tracking cookies.

Coming soon: HTTPFirst Watch, $9 a month, a weekly re-check that emails you if an address starts triggering the warning or a certificate is close to expiring. It is not open yet and there is no checkout.

Limits: the result is a prediction from your site's public responses. Chrome versions, earlier user choices, and enterprise policies can change what a visitor actually sees.

Title II Snapshot Free tool

For cities, counties, special districts, school districts and public colleges. Enter your website and the type of public body to get your ADA Title II web deadline and basic signals from up to 10 pages and 5 PDFs, with a summary you can copy for your council or board. No score and no grade.

Free tier: 3 free snapshots a day per visitor. No sign-up, no email, and nothing about your site is saved.

Limits: an automated indication from page HTML only. It is not an audit, not an ACR and not legal advice, and a clean result does not mean your site conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA.
