Privacy notice

This notice explains what information we collect through valleyfill.com and how we use it.

What we collect

• Emails and quote requests: your name, organization, work email, and the details you choose to send. The contact page and quote tool open an email to us from your own mail program; the quote tool does not send anything by itself.
• Chat assistant questions: if you use the “Questions? Chat with us” assistant, the questions you type are sent to our server and to the AI service that writes the automated answers.
• Server logs: our web host (Hostinger) automatically records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and operations. We do not use third-party analytics scripts or tracking cookies.
• Visit counts: ValleyFill counts visits anonymously, with no cookies and no personal data: only aggregate page-view counts, the referring website's domain and campaign tags (utm_source, utm_campaign), kept for about 13 months. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted. To limit abuse, a one-way hash of your IP address made with a random key that changes daily is kept briefly (normally a few hours) and is never stored with the counts.
• Title II Snapshot: the address you enter is used only to run the check, and results go straight to your browser. We don't save the address or the results. To enforce the daily limits we keep, for one day, a counter keyed by a salted one-way hash of your IP address, and for one hour a salted hash of the checked site name. How the Snapshot works.
• Display preferences: if you change the accessibility display settings, your choices are saved in your own browser (local storage) and are not sent to us.

How we use it

We use contact information to answer your request, send a quote, and follow up on the engagement you asked about. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who receives it

Emails are handled by our email provider, the site is hosted by Hostinger, and chat assistant questions are processed by the AI service that generates the answers. We share information only where needed to provide the service or where the law requires it.

Retention

We keep contact records for as long as needed to manage the relationship and meet record-keeping obligations, then delete them.

Customer data

Information you share during an engagement, including page inventories, login details, and internal documents, is governed by our service agreement and data handling terms, not this notice.
